BYU/UTAH Game

This year for the game we all got together at my house(Heidi). Mike is a Utah fan when almost everyone else in my family is a BYU fan so in the past we would be invited to watch the game at Shanna's, or my parents or Alan's and we would never go because well imagine how you would feel being the only one there cheering on the Utes and everyone else was really LOUD cheering on BYU. You probably wouldn't want to be there either. So anyways this year I talked Mike into hosting it because this year it would be on "his turf" and he might be a little more comfortable. We even invited Ami and Andy who are also Utes fans (well Andy is anyway) and they never go any of the other years either. It was so much FUN!!! We had TONS of food and we grilled burgers and had a great time! I definitely love hosting even though it can get a little crazy at times. :) I am so glad that the whole family was able to come and we all had a fun time!

Thanksgiving!

This year we had Thanksgiving at Shanna's house! Everyone but Alan and his family was there. We missed them though! It was alot of fun as it always is getting the family together and the food was great! Nic even made the candied yams and I even ate them! Which is very shocking cause I do NOT like them. But I did it for him and he did such a good job making them. Anyways it was a great day all in all and I cant wait for Christmas!

September Birthday!

There is only one birthday this month and it is Carter's. His birthday is actually today! The 14th of September! Happy Birthday bud! He turns 6 today! He is turning into quite the little man! He is growing up so fast and is so smart! He started Kindergarten this year and according to his mom (Ami) he loves school! He is a great big brother to Braxton and Aubrey and he loves his family very much! We are so grateful to have him in our family! We love you very much Carter! Happy Birthday! :)

August Birthdays!

A little behind......again....
August had three birthdays that month. Shanna's was the 3rd. We had a surprise party for her about a week later and she was so surprised it was great! She is a great sister, daughter, mother and wife. She is always there for her family and kids. She is loving and caring and we are so grateful she is a part of our Family. We love you! Then we had two birthdays on the 14th! Braxton's (aka Biggie) and Desiree! Braxton turned 3 this year! He is getting so big and smart! He is so fun and loves everyone! He loves to play with his cousins and he loves being a big brother to his baby sister! Desiree is great sister, daughter, mother and wife. She is funny and always there to give advice and help when needed! She is a great host for parties or family get togethers at her house! We love you all very much! Mom & Dad's Anniversary was on Monday the 27th! Just wanted to say happy anniversary to the greatest parents ever! We all love you very much! You are great role models, and are always there for all of us whenever we need you! You are great grandparents too! Hope you had a great day! Love you!

Zaugg Family Reunion!

So this summer has definately been filled with lots of fun family activities! My Dad's side of the family hasn't been together since 1993! And before that is was when I(heidi) was 1 1/2 or 2! Anyhoo its been a long time so we all thought it was time to get together again. At least as many people as we could. So on July 25th we all met at a park in Layton and had yummy food, played games and was able to visit. It was great to see our family again. We miss those that couldn't make it. Love you all! Suggs Family Reunion!!!

The weekend of July 10th-12th was the Suggs Family Reunion. This is our Mom's family. We do this everyother year and each kid in the family takes their turn hosting it. Well this year we all got to go to California!!! :) It was such a great time! We got to see everyone that we havent seen in a long time. I think for our family it has been probably about 10 years since we all got to go on vacation together and we have definately grown in numbers since then! We all got together at a church that had a pavillion in the back and played lots of games, ate yummy food and got to visit with each other. July Birthday!

There was only one birthday this month and it was Trevor's! He turned 7 on July 9th! He is such a sweet heart and is growing up so fast! He is so smart and loves to be with you pretty much wherever you are! He likes to ride his bike, swim and he likes to go fishing with his brother and uncles! He had a chance to go to Disneyland on his birthday! Hope you had a great day! We love you so much Trev!

June Birthdays!

We had two birthdays in June. Abi turned 5 on June 24th! She is getting so big and she is so smart! She is so sweet too! She is in to girl stuff loves anything princess. We love her and are so glad she is apart of the family! And on June 29th Brendan turned 3! He is growing up so fast and loves to dance and play! On my wedding(heidi) we put the music on and he was out on the dance floor dancing around and kept coming up to ask me to dance! We love you brendan! Hope you both had a wonderful day!

Just Married!!!

Yep Heidi is finally married! After dating Mike for 4 long(but good :)) years they finally got hitched! :) It was a perfect day! Our prayers were answered and it cleared up right before the ceremony ended so we could take pictures outside. Here are some pics from the big day!

May Birthdays

I can't believe May is almost over! This year has gone by so fast! Time for our May birthdays!

We start off with Adrianna on May 13th. Hard to believe it was 6 years ago this little girl joined our family! She's so sweet and lovable! Such a wonderful addition to the family! On her birthday we all headed up to Layton to have a Hawaiian Luau. It was a lot of fun! Happy Birthday sweet girl we hope it was a good one!

Mike also had a birthday this month. For those readers who don't know Mike is Heidi's fiance. They are getting married June 13th. We are so excited to welcome Mike as a member of our family! He's such a great guy! And the kids (especially my girls (Shanna)) LOVE their Uncle Mikey! We hope you had a great birthday Mike; and welcome to the family (even if you have been around for 4 years :))! We love you!

April Birthdays (a little behind)

Actually I think the only birthday this month was Alan's so we'll just move on to May......Just kidding! What would our family be without Alan? He's a great big brother and an awesome Father! And I'm sure Des would tell you he's a great husband too. He's an awesome person to talk to about sports and music! And he's a lot of fun to hang out with! Hope you had a great birthday BIG AL! Aubrey was born on Monday March 30th. She was 6 lbs. 15 oz. and 20 inches long. She's such a sweet baby! Welcome to the world Aubrey we love you!

March Birthdays

Well this month we had a few birthdays in it as well. First it was Mom's on the 2nd. We all love her very much. She is very caring and is always there when you need her. Then Lauryn's birthday was next on the 17th! She is 9! She is getting so big and she just loves everyone. She is always willing to help and loves to just be with you. Then there is Josh on the 20th. He turned the big 30!!! He is so fun to hang out with and he is a great guy we love him! Then last but not least Ami and Andy had their baby girl Aubrey on the 30th. She is so sweet and adorable! We are so excited for them and so excited to see her grow up! So Happy Birthday to you all!!! We love you!

Heidi's Engaged!

Yes you read right...I am finally engaged! Mike asked me to marry him on Valentines Day when we went up snowboarding and I said yes! :) We are planning on getting married June 13th. Here is a couple of pictures of the ring. Enjoy!

Ami's Baby Shower

Last Friday I had the opportunity to throw Ami a baby shower. She's having a girl at the end of next month. I decided to make the invitations. So I went and got the supplies needed and Ami and her mother-in-law came out to my house to help me put them together. They turned out so cute! Then it was decided that one of her friends (and neighbor) Katie would help with the shower and we would have it at her house (so all of Ami's friends and family didn't have to drive to Lehi). So Katie took care of the decorations since it was her house. And we both made some food (what's a party without it?). And I put together some party favors and Katie did a game. It turned out to be a great success and she got a lot of much needed and very CUTE things! We can't wait for Aubrey to come!

Happy Birthday Karna!

Our only January birthday is Karna! For Karna's birthday we got together the day after and had dinner at mom and dad's house. Everyone was able to make it with the exception of Mike, Nic and Trevor. Though Josh and Alan's family came a bit later it was still great to have everyone together to celebrate! Karna is a hard worker and is willing to help out when someone asks. She is a wonderful mother to her two boys even though there are a lot of stresses that come with being a single mother she does a great job. We love her and are so happy to have her as a part of our family. Happy Birthday Karna!
