December Birthdays

Well there are five birthdays(maybe more that I don't know of :)) this month that we celebrated! First on the 4th was Grandpa Suggs, even though he is gone we love him and miss him VERY much! Happy Birthday Grandpa! Also on the 4th was little Hannah's. She is such a sweet and happy little girl with a bright little smile that will melt your heart. We love her so much! Then it was Grandma Zaugg. We are very grateful to be able to live closer to grandma(now we just need to visit more too. :)). We love you grandma! On the 27th is Dad's birthday. You old fart!! Just Kidding! We love him to! He is the GREATEST dad ever and the BEST grandpa too! If you ever need help he is always there. He never judges and he always gives great advice! Last but not least was Ami's on the 30th. She is a great mother and wife to her kids and husband, a great sister to her siblings. She is funny and sweet! We love her! We hope you all had a great Birthday!!!

Family Pictures (Christmas 2008)

A little over a week ago we got the whole family together to take the annual Zaugg Family Picture for my mom's Christmas card. And after we had dinner at Dad and Mom's house. Good Times! Merry Christmas Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving, we had dinner at my house (Shanna). The way Josh's work schedule is set up he works every year on Thanksgiving and this year it just so happened that he was working graveyards. So Mom, Dad, and Karna came down and we cooked all day. Ami and Andy were able to stop by in the afternoon and visit with us, and Heidi and Mike came down for dinner. But unfortunately we didn't get to see Alan and Des. We hope they had a great time with Desiree's family that day! We are all very grateful and blessed to have our family close.

Pink! Pink! Pink!

We are all very excited to be welcoming a new addition next spring. Andy and Ami are expecting their 3rd baby. A GIRL!!!

September B-days (A little late)

Well there's really only one b-day in September and that's Carter! We hope you had a wonderful Birthday Carter! Carter is such a wonderful boy! I almost called him little! And though he is still young he is getting very big. And he's such a great big brother! He's so much fun to have in our family! I know my girls love going to their house to play! We love you Carter! When I get some pictures from his party I will post them!

Birthday Wishes

I've decided to start posting Birthday Wishes to those who've had their b-day's; I'm a bit late for August but that's where I'm going to start. So for August Happy Birthday to me! Just kidding. Ok so it was my b-day but that's not why I'm posting. We'll just move along to the next couple of birthday's in August. Happy Birthday to Desiree. This year for Des birthday Alan planned a surprise party for her. If you'd like to check out her post on the party click here. We are so happy to have Des as part of our family. She is such a great mom and a wonderful wife to Alan. She has great decorating ideas, and it good at finding the "good deals". She's a wonderful person with a great personality. A perfect addition to our family. I hope you had a great b-day Des!

Next up is Braxton (aka Biggie). Braxton turned 2 in August. Ami had a party for him on the Saturday following (which I may post pictures from later). We are so blessed to have biggie as a part of our family. He's such an adorable little boy, with a smile that will melt your heart. He's such a crack up too! He's getting to be sich a big boy and so smart and talented! We love you so much biggie and hope you had a great b-day!

Family Reunion

Thursday July 31st our Family got together at my house (Heidi) for a pool party/bbq. We decided a few years back we wanted to start doing Family Reunions every year and each kid will get a turn to host it. Well since I really havent lived out of my parents house for very long since last year I really wanted to have it at my house. Karna and her boys and Josh were not able to make it but everyone else that made it seemed to have fun. We are so blessed to all live in Utah and close that we try to get together often anyways. Here are some pictures.

4th Fun!

On the 4th of July we got together with the exception of Alan and Des (they were at a family reunion for the Wade's) and had a BBQ at my house (Shanna) and then went to Thanksgiving Point to see the Fireworks. It was a lot of fun. The kids all loved playing with each other. we brought some pop-its for them and mom and dad even stuck around for the fireworks! Afterward Karna, Heidi & Mike came back to our house to light off a few little fireworks that Karna had bought. It was a lot of fun! Maybe even the start of a new tradition? Well at least as long as we live in Lehi.:)

Fathers Day (I know I'm late posting this)

All of the kids were able to make it up to Dad and Mom's for Fathers day last weekend. I don't think Alan and Des made it there before Heidi had to go though. But never the less everyone made it to see dad. Ami brought some Marie Calendar pies. Dad's favorite is Lemon Meringue and she also brought a Razzleberry Creme pie. Yummy! The kids all had a lot of fun playing cars with grandpa too!

Lauryn's Baptism

Last Saturday April 12, 2008 Lauryn was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We all went up to attend the baptism and a little get together afterward at Alan's house. Lauryn looked so cute in her white dress and her little flower clips that her mom made for her. And you could feel the spirit so strong there. The kids watched everything so intently. Her dress came up so she had to go down again but she didn't seem to mind. And after it was all over Abi and Hannah both wanted to get in the water. Lauryn we are so proud of you and so is your Father in Heaven. And he loves you so much. Always remember that. We love you!

March Birthdays

This past Sunday we had dinner to Celebrate the birthdays in the month of March. Everyone made it except Alan and Desiree and their family. It was a lot of fun and Grandma Zaugg was even able to come! We love having her closer to us.
I know I know the candles are a little weird. All I had was a number 3 and 6 blue candles. But we work with what we have!

Heidi's New Thing

Heidi went snowboarding with Mike for the first time a week and a half ago. I believe that she's the first one in our family to do so. I know, I know, sad we've lived in Utah for so long with "The Greatest Snow on Earth" and none of us have been. Josh and I would love to go and try it someday. Awesome Heidi!

February Birthdays Dinner

This past Sunday all of us were able to get together at mom and dad's house to celebrate the birthdays of those born in February. It's always fun when we can all get together and the kids all like to play together too. After we brought the cake out and sang Happy Birthday everyone scattered again with one exception. Hannah went straight to the kitchen grabbed a clean plate and went back over to Grandpa who was cutting the cake. She climbed up next to him and sat down patienly waiting for her slice of cake. Not even saying a word. At 2 years old that girl knows exactly what she wants!
And before everyone left Grandpa was brave enough to crawl down onto the floor and let all the kids climb all over him. Just like when we were little. Oh the memories!
All in all we had a great time! Happy Birthday Nicolas, Heidi, and Andy!
